Is swearing acceptable on a trading floor ?

a few months ago I was sacked through gross misconduct (with no prior warnings) after swearing on the office floor... I worked in the foreign exchange industry as a trader...I am due to go to tribunal soon and am looking to show evidence that swearing is part and parcel of a trading office environment..

If you work within a trading environment - I would be grateful on your veiws on whether swearing on the trading floor is or isn't part of daily life...your views would help me immensly..
