Saturday Morning Kitchen
I was watching Saturday Morning Kitchen this week and thought what a thoroughly interesting and light hearted cooking program it was. The chefs, guests and presenter were all pleasant, didn't swear all the time and it had some really easy to follow great recipes.
One little tip one of the chefs had was to melt sugar in a pan till it was a liquid and caramelised. They then poured it out slowly onto a rolling pin that the chef was turning round as he was moving it away from the stream of liguid. The result was the sugar liguid sticking onto the rolling pin like a spring. After about a minute he carefully let the sugar spring slide off to be later used as a dessert decoration.
